Product Intro:

Zephyr provides test management capabilities to Atlassian products, working as a plugin/extension for Jira and Confluence, for managing both manual and automated testing processes. Using AI, users can transform their manual tests into automated tests and accelerate their delivery cycles.

The Atlassian Marketplace is the main distribution channel of Zephyr. Having great success over the years, Zephyr is one of the top-selling apps in the Atlassian Marketplace, experiencing huge growth with more than hundreds of thousands of monthly active users.

From an engineering perspective, we use native Cloud solutions on AWS, deploying multiple times a day, and using microservices. Our high-performance team of engineers use many of the modern good practices for software development, such as (a lot of) test automation, test-driven development (TDD), continuous delivery, progressive rollouts and more.

About the role:

As an Engineering Manager you will promote a culture of collaboration and innovation leading to success. Your teams will span multiple locations.

• Lead, coach, and mentor engineers developing both existing and new initiatives across the Zephyr portfolio.

• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within your team.

• Partner closely with PMs, UX, and peer engineering teams to deliver impactful business outcomes.

• Drive continuous improvement throughout the full software development lifecycle.

• Apply Agile methodologies to ensure efficient delivery, testing, and deployment.

• Define and measure processes and metrics that ensure market readiness and customer value.

We are looking for you if you have:

• 3+ years of experience managing software development teams.

• Background in SaaS companies with distributed teams preferred.

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

• Strong software development experience and ability to coach engineers.

• Knowledge of public and private cloud technologies.

• Ability to turn high-level goals into actionable plans with clear deliverables.
