About the Role

We are seeking a Technically Rooted Leader to head our engineering organization across the APAC region. In this pivotal role, you will own the technical strategy and reliability of our e-commerce platforms spanning 12 countries in Asia.

Based in Singapore, you will lead a diverse team of software engineers across Singapore and Vietnam. You will act as the vital bridge between technology, people, and business growth, by defining the long-term technical vision while mentoring a high-performing engineering org.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizational Leadership: Lead and scale a team of 20+ engineers across multiple stacks (Web, Backend, iOS, Android, DevOps, and Support). You will manage managers and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
• Platform Strategy & Architecture: Act as the final technical authority for architectural decisions, microservices transitions, and the evolution of our cloud-native ecosystem.
• Reliability & Scale: Own platform uptime and operational health, ensuring the infrastructure scales to support +30% YoY business growth and peak traffic events.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Translate complex technical roadmaps into business value for executive leadership and HQ stakeholders.

The Technical Stack

We are looking for a leader who remains fluent in:

• Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes.
• Backend: SpringBoot, Kafka, OpenSearch.
• Frontend/Mobile: React/Next.js, Native Mobile (Android/iOS), KMP.

Requirements:
Your profile

• Architecture Expertise: Deep experience in microservices, cloud-native systems, and high-availability platforms.
• Communication: Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory. French language skills are a significant advantage due to frequent collaboration with our Global HQ.
• Professional Experience: Roughly 8-10 years of experience in the tech industry, demonstrating a clear progression from Individual Contributor to Engineering Leadership.
• Leadership: Proven track record of managing "teams of teams" and navigating the complexities of a distributed APAC/Global workforce.
