As Engineering Manager for People & Processes in our Retail Platform domain, you’ll take the lead on building an environment where our product teams can thrive. Your mission: to empower engineers, ensure operational excellence, and shape processes that help us scale reliably and sustainably.

Your Tasks:
• Guide and support software engineers across multiple backend teams, fostering engagement, professional growth, and effective collaboration
• Drive capacity planning and hiring in close collaboration with Recruiting and other stakeholders
• Improve and evolve development processes that balance speed, quality, and team health
• Enable seamless collaboration between Product Managers and Engineers
• Facilitate alignment with other business units and foster a culture of cross-team support
• Promote psychological safety, inclusivity, and open feedback within the team
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs), ensuring reliability, performance, and secure operations

What you bring:
• Prior experience as a Software Engineer and deep understanding of modern engineering practices 
• Several years of experience managing engineering teams – ideally distributed and cross-functional
• A passion for helping people grow, with a coaching-first leadership approach
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• A process-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and remove bottlenecks
• Familiarity with agile principles and how to apply them pragmatically
• A hands-on attitude combined with a drive to continuously improve teams and systems
