As the Engineering Manager for Incubations, you will lead a specialized team at the forefront of blockchain innovation. You won't just be managing; you will be collaborating directly with ecosystem partners to develop cutting-edge dApps across diverse domains—including Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Gaming, DePin, and AI. This is a "zero-to-one" leadership role designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced, community-first environments and wants to push the absolute boundaries of decentralized technology.

What you’ll do:

• Lead & Mentor: Build and scale a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and rapid iteration.
• Execute as a Player-Coach: Remain hands-on by contributing to architecture, reviewing critical code paths, and solving complex technical bottlenecks.
• Drive Product Strategy: Partner closely with Product Managers to translate ambitious, ambiguous ideas into shipped, user-facing solutions.
• Ecosystem Innovation: Work with external partners to build and ship production-grade dApps that leverage our unique Layer 1 optimizations.

Requirements:
• Experience: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience (backend focus) with at least 3+ years specifically leading teams in high-growth or "zero-to-one" environments.
• Web3 Native: Deep hands-on experience building and shipping production blockchain systems (L1/L2 infrastructure, dApps, or protocols) and a mastery of EVM-based ecosystems.
• Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Go and/or TypeScript. You should be comfortable designing backend services and APIs that require high throughput and low-latency performance.
• Leadership: Proven ability to handle hiring, performance management, and technical mentorship.
• Strategic Thinking: A strong understanding of the competitive Web3 landscape; you can reason about technical tradeoffs and guide teams toward meaningful product differentiation.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally and bridge the gap between technical constraints and product vision.
