Our portfolio includes products such as EDGEauditor and VetLogix. EDGEauditor enables ski industry professionals to better protect their guests & organizations, while boosting visitor experience through reliable and consistent data. VetLogix is a cloud-based practice management platform purpose-built for large animal veterinarians.
We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and support the EDGEauditor and Vetlogix product. This role will be responsible for building, mentoring, and managing the engineering team, as well as providing strong technical and delivery leadership to ensure the successful development and execution of the platform initiatives.
A day in the life as an Engineering Manager:
• Oversee and lead both Frontend and Backend engineering teams, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality output
• Monitor and maintain system reliability, performance and security, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks
• Conduct regular check-ins and 1:1 meetings with engineering team members to support performance, engagement and development
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal systems, processes, and policies
• Align squad-level goals with broader Engineering objectives to ensure consistency and strategic impact
• Provide hands-on support in debugging complex code issues and resolving architectural challenges
• Lead the technical design and architecture of scalable and maintainable solutions
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA teams and other stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions that meet customer needs
If the below describe your knowledge, experience and character, this role could be for you:
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading and managing engineering teams
• Hand-on experience with Ruby, Python or equivalent
• Hand-on experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience working with Docker
• Proven experience in technical project planning, execution, and delivery
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering talent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent project management, organizational, and time management abilities
