As an Engineering Manager (gn), you will lead a dynamic team of engineers owning business-critical systems and products. You will drive people development, delivery excellence, and architectural evolution towards scalable, secure, and maintainable systems — in close partnership with Product and Business stakeholders.

This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who enjoys shaping team structures, strengthening ownership, and creating clarity in complex environments.

We are hiring for multiple Engineering Manager positions across different domains, including Data Warehouse, Shopify, and CRM. Based on your profile, we will find the area that best aligns with your experience, strengths, and interests.

Your mission

Team Development

• You foster a positive, collaborative culture within the engineering team

• You provide mentorship, coaching, and growth opportunities

• You support hiring and scaling the team as needed

Performance & Delivery

• You establish clear goals and metrics

• You regularly evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback

• You balance short-term outcomes with long-term technical health

• You ensure reliable and predictable delivery

Architecture & Technical Direction

• You guide systems toward modern, scalable, and maintainable architectures

• You partner with senior engineers on technical strategy and evolution

• You support cloud-native and event-driven patterns where applicable

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• You work closely with Product, Design, Data, and Business stakeholders

• You ensure engineering efforts align with company goals and customer value

Innovation, Quality & Risk Management

• You drive continuous improvement and modernization initiatives

• You manage technical debt and engineering risks

• You collaborate with Platform, Security, and QA teams to uphold high-quality standards

• You scale processes and structures as the organization grows

Your experience & skills

• You have proven experience in engineering management (3+ years) leading software teams in an agile, product-driven environment

• You have strong knowledge and practical experience in Agile methodologies, with a track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects and optimizing team performance through data-driven metrics

• You are passionate about AI and leverage AI tools to improve workflows, decision-making, and engineering productivity

• You have excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to align diverse stakeholders and enable senior engineers

• You are fluent in English; German is a plus
