We are seeking a hands‑on Engineering Manager to lead a key product engineering team at Musafir.com India Private Limited in Pune. You will shape scalable travel‑platform solutions using .NET 9/10, microservices and cloud‑agnostic architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline

• Total experience of 8‑12 years, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership or team‑management role

• Deep expertise in C#, .NET 8/9/10, ASP.NET Core, clean microservice architecture

• Strong architecture skills: solution design, system decomposition, service boundaries

• Hands‑on development experience with web/API applications, microservices

• Familiarity with domain‑driven design (DDD) principles

• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, asynchronous programming

• Experience with CI/CD, containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes), environment reliability

• Ability to partner with Product, QA, UX, DevOps teams and manage stakeholders

• Outcome‑oriented mindset, high delivery standards

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)

• Knowledge of security and compliance best practices (OAuth2, OWASP)

• Familiarity with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda / Azure Functions)

• Exposure to travel or e-commerce domain platforms

• Experience integrating with front-end frameworks (ReactJs, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery)

Responsibilities

• Own solution architecture and system decomposition: define high‑level designs, domain models, microservice boundaries ensuring scalability, fault‑tolerance and maintainability

• Architect, design, and guide the development of scalable, secure, high‑performance applications using ASP.NET Core and modern microservice patterns

• Drive engineering excellence and delivery velocity: ensure sprint predictability, code quality, and on‑time releases across modules

• Establish and enforce engineering standards using tools like SonarCloud, Codacy, OpenTelemetry (observability/performance monitoring)

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, QA, UX, DevOps to align business outcomes with technical delivery

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments, and staging/production environment reliability

• Mentor engineers: conduct peer‑reviews, build structured learning road‑maps, promote growth and best practices

• Champion modernization initiatives: adopt .NET 9 features, AOT compilation, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, cloud‑native practices

• Own operational excellence: define and monitor SLAs/SLOs for uptime, response times, incident management
