What Your Day Might Look Like:

Technical & Delivery Leadership

• Own and evolve engineering standards, best practices, and architectural principles across Data & AI projects
• Act as a senior technical authority for complex platforms spanning modern data stacks, cloud-native architectures, GenAI applications, MLOps, and AI agents
• Support project teams in solution design, technical decision-making, and risk management across data engineering, ML, and AI initiatives
• Review and challenge designs to ensure scalability, reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency
• Partner with Tech Leads to maintain consistency and engineering quality across projects
• Help teams balance pragmatic delivery with long-term technical excellence

People Management & Leadership

• Line-manage Senior Data Engineers and Tech Leads, supporting growth, performance, and career progression
• Coach engineers on technical depth, ownership, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership behaviors
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on collaboration, accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to performance reviews, development plans, and promotion decisions aligned with Satori’s competency framework
• Help attract, interview, and retain top engineering talent in Data & AI

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Owners to align technical solutions with client needs, business goals, and delivery constraints
• Partner with Data Science, AI, Cloud, and Analytics teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across the full AI lifecycle
• Support presales and discovery phases through technical input, estimations, architecture discussions, and solution framing
• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders by acting as both a technical advisor and engineering leader

Organizational Impact

• Identify gaps in skills, tooling, engineering practices, or processes and drive pragmatic improvements
• Contribute to internal initiatives including guilds, accelerators, playbooks, training, and knowledge sharing
• Help scale Satori’s engineering capability without compromising quality, culture, or delivery standards
• Stay current with emerging trends in Data, AI, GenAI, and MLOps, helping teams adopt modern engineering practices where they create value

Requirements:
Your Superpowers 🚀

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or related Data & AI domains
• Proven experience leading senior engineers and/or technical teams in complex delivery environments
• Strong expertise in modern cloud and data ecosystems, particularly Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and modern data warehousing architectures
• Exposure to GenAI applications, AI agents, MLOps, or production-grade ML systems
• Experience designing and scaling data platforms, pipelines, orchestration frameworks, and analytics solutions
• Strong understanding of engineering trade-offs across scalability, reliability, maintainability, and delivery speed
• Experience working in consulting or project-based environments is a strong plus
• Ability to balance hands-on technical depth with strategic thinking and people leadership
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have ✨

• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or other modern LLM ecosystems
• Familiarity with streaming architectures and real-time analytics
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP)
• Experience mentoring Tech Leads or senior engineering talent
• Certifications in Azure, Databricks, or related technologies
