Valterra Platinum is inviting applications for an Engineering Learnership Programme  (18.2- Unemployed) -a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, expand your technical knowledge, and explore the exciting world of engineering within the mining industry.

What the Programme offers:

• Structured training that includes off- the-Job and workplace Training 
• Successful completion of this Learnership programme will result in a nationally recognized Artisan qualification

Below are the exciting opportunities available:

• Learnership Electrician x 1
• Learnership Boilermaker Plater x 1
• Diesel Mechanic x 2
• Auto Electrician x 1

The following are the minimum entry requirements for the programme:

Minimum Entry Requirements

• Matric with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical Science and English (all with minimum 40% pass), OR
• N2 or higher with all subjects as per the specific Discipline requirements below;• Boilermaker Plater: Plating & Structural Steelwork/ Welders Theory and Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings, Mathematics & Engineering Science.
• Electrical: Electrical Trade Theory /Electrotechnology/ Electrotechnics and Industrial Electronics, or Engineering Drawings, Mathematics & Engineering Science.
• Diesel Mechanic: Diesel/ Motor Trade Theory, Engineering Drawings, Mathematics & Engineering Science.
• Auto Electrician: Motor Electrical Trade Theory, Industrial Electronics, Mathematics & Engineering Science. OR

• NCV Level - 4 in appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum 40% pass.
