Engineering Lead - US Accounting & Payments (m/f/d)

Team

We are a cross-functional engineering team composed of frontend and backend engineers, responsible for the full end-to-end development lifecycle supporting our US business. From discovery and design to delivery, operations, and continuous improvement, we own our solutions throughout their entire lifecycle.

We build and operate a mission-critical, 24/7 fintech platform that serves customers in a highly regulated and reliability-sensitive environment. Our systems demand high availability, scalability, resilience, and a strong focus on customer experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Own delivery quality, velocity, and operational stability of your team

• Ensure alignment with product and technology strategy

• Coach and develop engineers to meet evolving business needs

• Drive engineering best practices and continuous improvement

• Collaborate closely with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Tech Lead

• Make pragmatic architectural decisions, focusing on scalable and reusable solutions

• Act as a role model in both high-pressure and stable situations

Your Profile

• Strong background in software engineering

• Deep expertise in .NET / C# and backend development
Solid experience with SQL databases

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture

• Knowledge of micro-deposits or transaction-based systems is highly valued

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Strong understanding of system design, resilience, and observability

• Several years of experience leading a team using Agile methodology

• You are a strong communicator, motivator, and mentor who balances delivery speed with engineering quality

• You understand the business domain, inspire your team to take ownership, and continuously improve how work gets done
