Engineering Lead - US Accounting & Payments (m/f/d)

Team

We are a cross-functional engineering team composed of frontend and backend engineers, responsible for the full end-to-end development lifecycle supporting our US business. From discovery and design to delivery, operations, and continuous improvement, we own our solutions throughout their entire lifecycle.

We build and operate a mission-critical, 24/7 fintech platform that serves customers in a highly regulated and reliability-sensitive environment. Our systems demand high availability, scalability, resilience, and a strong focus on customer experience.

Your Responsibilities

Own delivery quality, velocity, and operational stability of your team
Ensure alignment with product and technology strategy
Coach and develop engineers to meet evolving business needs
Drive engineering best practices and continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Tech Lead
Make pragmatic architectural decisions, focusing on scalable and reusable solutions
Act as a role model in both high-pressure and stable situations

Your Profile

Strong background in software engineering
Deep expertise in .NET / C# and backend development
Solid experience with SQL databases

Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture
Knowledge of micro-deposits or transaction-based systems is highly valued
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Strong understanding of system design, resilience, and observability
Several years of experience leading a team using Agile methodology
You are a strong communicator, motivator, and mentor who balances delivery speed with engineering quality
You understand the business domain, inspire your team to take ownership, and continuously improve how work gets done
