Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of complex technology solutions. The role requires strong technical depth combined with leadership capability to guide engineering teams, define architecture standards, and ensure high-quality execution aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver scalable and high-quality technology solutions.
• Define and drive technical strategy, architecture, and engineering best practices across projects.
• Oversee system design, code quality, and adherence to development standards.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.
• Identify risks, resolve technical challenges, and ensure timely project execution.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering function.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in software development or systems engineering, with proven leadership exposure.
• Strong technical background in designing and building scalable systems or applications.
• Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and modern development practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with team leadership responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Prior experience in enterprise or banking environments is an advantage.
