Job Description

Main Scope

Responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of all electrical, mechanical, and ELV systems within the hotel. Ensures optimal performance of life safety systems, BMS/GRMS, and full compliance with hotel standards and authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Operations

• Supervise daily engineering shift operations
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs
• Maintain logs, reports, inventories, and technical documentation
• Inspect completed works for safety and compliance
• Estimate materials, manpower, and project requirements
• Ensure adherence to emergency procedures and safety protocols

ELV & Life Safety Systems

• Oversee Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, CBS, UPS, BMS, and GRMS systems
• Conduct regular inspections, fire pump testing, and system checks
• Monitor systems and take immediate corrective action when needed
• Maintain accurate ELV documentation and compliance records
• Coordinate with approved contractors/service providers
• Support fire drills and emergency preparedness activities

Compliance & Leadership

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, hotel policies, and safety regulations
• Participate in risk management and sustainability initiatives
• Supervise and guide engineering team members
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel
• Strong hands-on experience with ELV and life safety systems
• Knowledge of BMS, GRMS, Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting systems
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office and engineering systems
