We are actively hiring a Delivery Manager VP for our Private Market’s division as this is an exciting time to join our innovative engineering teams as we are investing in growing out our European presence and leadership to help drive our next phase of growth.

Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and hands-on Engineering Delivery VP who will initially lead engineering delivery for our Private Markets division of CRD. This role will also manage the global engineering delivery team located across APAC, EMEA and North America. 

The ideal candidate is a leader able to establish engineering delivery execution model, that includes planning, execution, and control adherence. The candidate will support the department leader by providing oversight of the headcount, managing statements of work, and will collaborate with Finance to ensure the expenses align with the budget. The candidate brings to the table strategic vision for implementing project and change management best practices that are fit-for-purpose of the company, ability to identify talent and process gaps, align execution with the agile values and principles, and has prior experience of successfully running programs in a global cross-functional fast-paced environment.

The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization, capacity is allocated to the top priority efforts, and that any barriers to optimal team execution are identified and addressed. 

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee projects for technology pillar, drive vendor engagements, manage statements of work, coordinate contractor resourcing.
• Engineering Delivery: Ensure adherence to the SDLC standards and best project management and Agile practices across the technology pillar. Manage alignment of the Product Book of Work, which may include client implementations, product development, audit response, and tech debt remediation efforts, to our strategic goals. Define plans and roadmaps, develop RACI operating models, identify and escalate risk to the portfolio, and implement appropriate organizational/scrum team change management.
• Team Management: Oversee the global delivery team, setting out priorities, managing performance, delegating tasks, manage recruiting and retention, and providing escalation and leadership across the function.
• Agile Execution: Support the organization by implementing best practices for scrum team structure and execution. Leveraged standard Agile metrics to identify areas of risk, under/over utilization, determine coaching needs, perform assessments.
• Capacity Management: Manage a complete view of headcount and expenses; drive efforts to optimize resource planning and capacity vs. demand transparency.
• Key Performance Metrics (KPIs): Measure the progress vs. established targets, identify key areas of risk, drive transparency accountability, and improvements.
• Vendor Management: Oversee key vendor contracts.

Requirements and skills

• 10+ years of experience successfully implementing and leading engineering delivery or a large global organization
• Prior experience of overseeing portfolios inclusive of managing resources, book of work governance, strategy definition, and planning
• Hands-on experience running cross-functional global programs
• Proven experience of working with multiple stake holders, negotiating and influencing decision-making
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
• Practical knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile methodology. SAFe Agilist, SAFe Coach certifications strongly preferred
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project, MS Excel and Jira etc.) is a strong advantage
• Ability to learn and absorb technical information
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent nuanced communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Attention to details
• BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
