Costa Navarino, is in Messinia in the southwest Peloponnese, in one of the most unspoiled and breathtaking landscapes in the Mediterranean. It is currently home to four 5-star deluxe hotels, The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort and The Westin Resort at Navarino Dunes, W-Costa Navarino and Mandarin Oriental at Navarino Bay. In the coming years, more upscale branded hotels will be added to our portfolio, both in Messinia and Athens.

Navarino Dunes Costa Navarino facilities include 766 bedroom units award winning Anazoe Spa, a 4,000m2 spa & thalassotherapy center, four multi-awarded, signature golf courses, over 20 fine dining venues, 5,000 m2 House of Events and a wide range of sports, such as the “Mouratoglou Tennis Center”, Bayern Munich football academy, Navarino Outdoor and many more.

W Costa Navarino, exclusively for adults and young adults over 12 years old, offers 226 stylish rooms, 2 bedroom suites and 3 bedroom villas with infinity private pools, staged in the Bay of Navarino with stunning Ionian Sea views, The Watersports Center, The Away Spa and gym with a heated 25m-long lap pool, including the new Navarino Agora, an open marketplace with retail, street food, open-air cinema and exciting programming throughout the day and night.

We are looking for an Assistant to the Residences Engineering Manager, for the smooth operation, maintenance and overall functionality of the residential buildings within the Resort’s housing sector. The role involves assisting with routine inspections, responding to maintenance requests, coordinating with technical teams and ensuring all facilities meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of the staff work schedule within the department.
• Supervision of the proper operation of departmental systems.
• Maintaining adequate stock of critical spare parts.
• Drafting regular reports on departmental activities.
• Collaboration with the Finance Department regarding departmental expenditures.
• Organization and supervision of the implementation of the preventive maintenance program.
• Organization and supervision of the implementation of emergency maintenance and repair programs.
• Ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues
• Planning and execution of training programs for the department’s technical staff.
• Preparation and oversight of proper implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Execution of human resource management processes within the department.
• Communication with external contractors and supervision of outsourced work.
• Coordination with the Department Head to manage the team and its tasks.
• Collaboration with other sectors of the Technical Services Department.
• Team spirit and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards at all times. Guide and encourage team to do the same.
• Attend all trainings and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news.


Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in the maintenance of building facilities
• 3 years of experience in team management
• 3 years of experience in budget preparation and monitoring
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from a University or Technological Educational Institute
• English language certificate
• Adequate general knowledge of building infrastructure, including structural and electromechanical systems, as well as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), BMS (Building Management Systems), and KNX automation systems
• Adequate knowledge of the English language
• Adequate computer skills
• Adequate knowledge of legislation and standards related to the technical field
