Engineer (m/f/d) – Prototype Build

Your tasks:
• You implement creative and functional design concepts into real prototypes, ensuring they meet the highest standards
• You accompany the complete prototype build – including on-site work with partners and suppliers – ensuring smooth execution of all process steps
• You are responsible for adapting and further developing designs and concepts, especially for prototype-specific parts and modifications
• You provide on-site support and ensure technical issues are resolved directly on location
• You act as an interface between prototype development and series production – your experience directly contributes to improvements and adaptations for serial manufacturing
• You create and monitor the vehicle usage plan in close coordination with project teams and external partners

Your profile:
• You have completed a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable field
• You have professional experience with an OEM, Tier-1 supplier, engineering service provider, or a larger workshop – ideally focusing on prototype or series development
• You possess solid knowledge of PT development processes, materials, technologies, and relevant automotive regulations and standards
• You are proficient in CAD software for creating and modifying design models
• You can quickly identify technical issues and find practical solutions
• You communicate clearly and reliably, work independently, and think conceptually
• You are willing to travel internationally for projects
• You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
