Engineer II, Automation (Development )

What you'll do:
Automation - Working experience in Python and Shell Scripts (candidate should able to write code/test script in python).)
Be a part of the team responsible for CI/CD pipeline automation and innovation in a hybrid on-premise/AWS OpenStack environment.
Will work on LTE /5G features. (Handover , VoLTE , SRVCC , IRAT , CSFB , CA )
Performing test activities and troubleshooting software and hardware issues as well the customer’s issues
Utilize expertise in translating standards, feature documents and customer requirements into system level, subsystem level and feature level test plans and test cases
Troubleshoot issues and get into technical discussions with R&D

What you must have::
• 2- 5 years of relevant experience as Automation Engineer (Automation and Scripting is priority for this role.)
• Strong Experience with C, C++ Python, Shell scripts, or other scripting languages for use in automation and DevOps practices.
• Experience using Jenkins for automated CI and release engineering.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Demonstrate ability to share knowledge across DevOps, Development, Testing and Infrastructure teams.
• Ability to demonstrate competency and deep understanding of mature source code management models for feature and release branch development and merging/sync strategies.
• Good understanding of wireless network architecture (5G/4G).
• Hands on experience in using wireless test tools such as QXDM, TM500, Channel Emulator, etc.
• Knowledge of message flows and parameters used in the messages for 5G/4G & IRAT procedures
• Experience in DevOps tools like Docker, k8s
• Experience in Linux OS like CentOS , RH Ubuntu etc
• Debugging issue on MAC /RRC and knowledge on other stack layer will add advantage.

Bachelor’s (B.E/B.Tech) or Master’s degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent training, education and experience.
