Position Overview
We have an immediate opening for a Engineer / Drafter to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Engineering Manager with:
2D and 3D drafting, including creating models and detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
Interpreting and working from blueprints and technical drawings
Preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM)
Revising drawings and BOMs as needed
Supporting quality assurance processes and updating designs prior to final release
Maintaining strong communication and collaboration within the team
Qualifications
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
High School Diploma required; Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility with workload demands
Ability to read and interpret codes and government documents
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Minimum of 3 years drafting experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
College graduates are encouraged to apply
Elevator industry experience is a plus
Skills & Abilities
Strong computer skills, including in-house and Microsoft programs
High proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (Inventor expertise is highly valued)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Quick learner with a proactive mindset
