The Engineer is responsible for ensuring requirements are captured, analyzing the impact of changes, and supporting the business throughout the implementation process.

When the project implementation starts the Engineer will be involved in the technical analysis, providing support to the development team supervising the testing phases, following the deployment activities.

It is also expected the Engineer will assume a key role on the applications maintenance, taking responsibility for keeping the service operational and ensuring its proper functioning.

This person must be in close contact with multiple local (Spain) teams (business and operations, TDI) helping on the requirements definition and providing support to the development teams (distributed in different locations) for their implementation.

Your key responsibilities

Requirements definition, functional design and technical design. Involved in the analysis and define solutions for enhancements as well as the maintenance of specific set of applications.
Deep knowledge of systems and applications under him/her control to define their evolution.
IT Application Life Cycle standards are met in ongoing enhancements and maintenance
Identification and management of risk and issues associated with the application
Maximum operational availability and stability, finding at same time best ratio in cost efficiency.

Your skills and experiences

Experience and knowledge of banking business and its operations, mainly related to Cards products. Experience with PRICE formats and protocols. Highly valued experience working with Redsys and Bizum platforms. Significant experience in both Issuer and Acquirer role. Being a must have the knowledge of old packages named SIA and SAT. Packages that manage all card’s lifecycle in a Bank, commercialized by Getronics 20 years ago.
Experience with functional and technical documentation, architectural diagram, components, flows, use cases
Mainframe (Cobol/CICS/DB2) expertise for more than 10 years
Knowledge of Agile methodology applied to applications development, being a must have: Scrum master experience and knowledge about all lifecycle for development under SDLC (planification, manage budget, monitoring, implementation, testing)
Good English level allowing fluid oral and writing communications, essential for effective collaboration with teams based in India.
