Key missions of the position:

Planning, execution and monitoring of Engineering Projects. Coordinate with cross function team members to update tasks, track progress and ensure timely delivery of projects within budget. Support Product Development in Chemical Processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Creation of work breakdown structure and allocation of resource.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Update project timelines and tasks considering ongoing changes in the projects.

• Documentation & Compliance:• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Support audits and regulatory requirements through proper record-keeping.

• Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams:• Collaborate with Cross-Functional team members to keep the project data up to date.
• Assist in vendor coordination and procurement activities related to engineering projects

• System & Reporting:• Prepare regular reports on engineering projects and resources.

• Process Improvement:• Identify and suggest improvements in the project and product activities.
• Support digitalization efforts to enhance operational efficiency.

• Product Support:• Understanding of Chemical Processes and support the process/product owners.
• Create and implement improvement action plan on chemical processes and product.

• What education and education level are necessary for the position?

 

      Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or science Graduate/Masters (Chemistry) with Project Experience

 

• How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position?
• 1-3 years of experience in engineering support roles or projects, preferably in railway or industrial sectors.
• Strong Communication, inter-personal skills and Time/Task Management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge in project management tools (e.g. MS Project) is added benefit.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving skills and decision making.
