This opportunity for an Engineer |  Aircraft Materials (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.
• Select materials, processes, surface treatments and finishing, considering basic principles of structures and/or functionality.
• Support design teams, review and release of engineering drawings and documentation.
• Preparation and/or management of the material and hardware database.
• Support test campaign to characterize material properties.
• Compile a Preferred Hardware Selection List.
• Preparation of any necessary related documentation to achieve aircraft certification.
• Academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
• Knowledgeable in the different manufacturing process, aerospace materials and treatments, sealants, paints and coatings.
• Experience with methods, techniques and test procedures to characterize material properties.
• Skilled in MS Office / CATIA V5 / ENOVIA / VPM / SAP in a professional work environment.
• Good interpersonal skills, can work independently and demonstrate initiative to achieve the goals established.
