This opportunity for an Engineer | Aircraft Loads, Mass and Balance (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.
• Analyze and interpret inputs and requirements to determine critical loads within a flight envelope.
• Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation.
• Create an aircraft loads data base.
• Develop load plans, load cases and identify necessary tests to achieve the aircraft certification.
• Develop tools/methodologies and reports to support the loads calculation process.
• Execute and interpret multi-physics load case analyses.
• Prepare reports or other documents to demonstrate the compliance with certification requirements.
• Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as:• The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks status;
• Provide work estimates and projections;
• Identify goals and requirements as well as determine the most appropriate analysis for each case; 
• Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs.
• Support the development of simulation and validation models for the calculated load cases.
• Validate load models and tools based on test results (bench, ground and flight tests).
• Academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with FEM tools, MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar.
• Proven experience in the planning, definition, execution and interpretation of load case analyses.
• Good knowledge of materials and production techniques.
• Good programming skills in C++, Python, Fortran and VBA.
• Good knowledge of materials and production techniques is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential.
