• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the SAP IS-U development team
• Design and implement complex SAP IS-U solutions tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of SAP IS-U modules
• Ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards in all technical deliverables
• Mentor and coach junior team members on SAP IS-U technologies and methodologies
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in SAP IS-U implementations
• Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and industry trends
• Liaise with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide expert advice
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Up to 10 years of experience in SAP IS-U development and solution architecture.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP and SAP development tools.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules related to Utilities (e.g., CCS, FICA, DM).
• Proven experience in solution design and problem-solving for complex environments.
• Familiarity with the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR compliance.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Understanding of local energy market regulations in Portugal.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
