Primary responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of energy and resource projects (e.g., power generation, utilities, mining, oil & gas, renewables).
• Manage full project lifecycle: scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, and closeout.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts, and performance reports.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in project management and engineering execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is an asset.
• PMP certification is an asset
• 5+ years of experience in project management within the Energy & Resources sector.
• Proven experience managing capital-intensive projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction practices, and project controls.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
• Valid Driver Licence Ability with access to own car
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
