What you’ll achieve 

As a Federal Endpoint Security Engineer, you will work across the various global IT teams, Engineering Lab teams and Federal business units to effectively implement and standardize a new singular EDR & NGAV platform (CrowdStrike). You will contribute to initiatives across Cybersecurity, and work as a member of a larger team that focuses on priority items which change based on need 

You will: 

• Administer and optimize Federal endpoint tools and operations, including policy management, issue resolution, performance tuning, and cross-team collaboration to ensure robust and efficient endpoint protection. 

• Document sensor rollout, agent removal, policy approvals.  

• Validate compliance with ITAR/export controls if applicable.  

• Document regional lab owners, tool owners, and IT ops leads. 

• Participate in the successful execution of upgrades, enhancements, and service requests, ensuring stability and alignment with security objectives. 

• Identify and recommend process improvements, while developing new approaches and techniques to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Requirements  

• Solid relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education/experience 

• Strong experience with operating system installations, management and troubleshooting  

• Linux (server) and Windows (desktop):  strong experience with operating system install, management, troubleshooting as well as knowledge of compliance/patching 

• Experience with testing, validation of applications, and benchmarking  

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues 

Desirable Requirements  

• Broad knowledge and understanding of Security, IT systems, domains, enterprise applications
