EMT - ER Tech, Full Time

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center Emergency Department is seeking a versatile advanced EMT to function as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.  Must possess excellent professional and therapeutic customer service skills and serve as a role model for staff. Expected to perform activities according to skill level and as delineated as an ER Technician in the hospital setting. Must possess excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills. Basic computer, order entry and patient registration applications are required.  Experience with Meditech and its applications is preferred and would be beneficial to the employee, however, some instruction will be given.  This position requires scheduling flexibility in a highly fluid and challenging work environment and sound verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

Must be able to prove current competency in Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

Possessing instructorships in these courses is very advantageous. Certification in Critical Care Transport is preferred; must obtain CCEMT-P within 6-months from hire date. Paramedic level certification will be required within 24 months of hire date.
5 years or more experience preferred.
