• 4+ Years Experience presenting technical information to stakeholders
• 4+ Years Experience monitoring the work of and setting priorities for an IT project team
PREFRENCES:
• 4+ Years Knowledge of National Emergency Medical Services Information System
• (NEMSIS) and National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB)
• 4+ Years Managing projects using Maven Commercial Off-the Shelf software system
• 4+ Years Knowledge of the Emergency Medical Services and Trauma System in Texas
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage FY18-19 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Trauma Registry Project. Project Manager (PM) must work closely with the Trauma Program to ensure required functionality is being met by the vendor.
PM and team will perform an assessment and gap analysis to identify and implement system modifications and possible enhancements necessary to: attain maximum system efficiency and data quality, meet ongoing and changing stakeholder needs, and to provide reports that inform injury prevention intervention practices to address public health needs.
Project will build upon the EMS and Trauma Registries system to improve injury prevention interventions by focusing on continuous quality improvement. This will ensure that the EMS and Trauma Registries data are accurate and complete, can be validated, remain consistent, and comply with national data standards.
