Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Driver at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for providing safe and efficient medical care and transport, including coordination of communication amongst multi-disciplinary team members to facilitate care. This role also utilizes organizational skills to document and file compliant reports and paperwork and to remain up-to-date on trends and best practices in EMS to provide the highest quality care for patients.

Uses skills to facilitate triage, treatment, and transport of critically ill and injured patients, to include Newborn, Pediatric, Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric. | | Patient Transport:
Provides safe appropriate level of care transport of patients (emergency and routine). | | Communication:
Maintains appropriate radio/verbal communication with multi-disciplinary team members to provide holistic care to patients. | | Self-Development:
Maintains competency by staying informed of changing trends in Emergency Medical Services. | | Regulatory Knowledge:
Complies with regulatory and accrediting agency requirements. | | Paperwork
Writes reports that comply with patient illness.
Keeps paperwork and computer work up to date and filed in the correct place. |
