Who We Are Looking For

The Product Intern will support the Product Development team across multiple stages of the product lifecycle, ranging from coordination of product development to the testing of the developed features. A technical background is appreciated, but not necessary. 

This role is structured across two primary areas of responsibility:

Workflow Owner Role

At Ava we have an organization specific role called Workflow Owner. This role is like a project manager but at a smaller scale and with a stronger focus on the product itself. 

Responsibilities include:

They are expected to know who are they servicing and know the feature change

Ensures initial discovery kick off meeting is scheduled and facilitated

Engage directly with developer to groom and refine the Github issue

Actively participating in quality assurance (QA) processes in partnership with the QA Lead to test developed features

Engage with CSAs, trainers, implementation, marketing to develop any pre and post release items if necessary

QA Tester Role

In addition to testing specific projects through the Workflow Owner role, the Product Intern will aid the QA lead in weekly testing of other features and releases

As a member of our organization, this role entails upholding security policies, protecting sensitive information, and promptly reporting any security incidents or concerns. Prioritizing information security in daily tasks contributing to the overall resilience of Ava's information security management system and supporting Ava's information security goals.

Additional Requirements

Proof of education and a minimum of 2 professional references are required.
