Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Salem, VA

Location: Salem, VA

Schedule: Full-Time | Days, Nights, Evenings, or Mixed (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Incentives:

• Base Pay: $32.33 – $48.50/hour (based on years of experience)

• 0–9 yrs: $32.33/hr

• 10–19 yrs: $40.41/hr

• 20+ yrs: $48.50/hr

• Differentials: Nights +$3.00/hr | Weekend Days +$3.00/hr | Weekend Nights +$7.00/hr

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (with 2-year commitment)

• Relocation Assistance: Up to $1,500

Overview

A leading acute care hospital in Virginia is hiring Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join their dynamic emergency department team. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

• Triage, assess, and prioritize multiple patients simultaneously.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans and treatment.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation per organizational policy.

• Act with professionalism and composure, especially in high-pressure scenarios.

• Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing – Required.

• BSN preferred, or current enrollment in a BSN program.

• Active Virginia RN license or multistate compact RN license – Required.

• American Heart Association BLS certification – Required.

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience in an acute care setting – Preferred.

• Med-Surg RNs may be considered for cross-training (Night shift only).
