Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Shift: Full-Time, Nights (7 PM – 7 AM), Rotating Weekends (2 per month: Friday–Sunday)

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $34.24 – $45.75 (based on experience)

• Night Differential: $3.75/hour

• Weekend Differential: $6.00/hour

Incentives:

• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

• Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (for candidates relocating over 50 miles)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team. In this leadership role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while supervising staff and overseeing operations during night shifts. Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Assess, monitor, and document patient symptoms and conditions.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement personalized care plans.

Leadership

• Delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability.

• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to nursing staff.

Education

• Deliver individualized education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Safety & Quality

• Follow infection control and safety standards to maintain a secure environment.

• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with care standards.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

• Licensure: Active RN license (Tennessee or compact state).

• Education: Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Certifications:

• BLS (American Heart Association) – Required

• ACLS & PALS – Within 1 year of hire

• CPI – Within 6 months of hire

• Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience (ER, ICU, or Psych preferred)

• At least 1 year in Emergency Room nursing required

• Prior charge nurse or leadership experience preferred

• Trauma: Experience in a Level III Trauma Center is a plus

• Designation: Level III Trauma Center

• Unit Size: 22 beds

• Team Size: 73 FTEs

• Daily Volume: Up to 166 patients

• Charting System: MediTech (experience preferred, not required)
