We provide expert fire, medical and rescue services, spill response, hazardous materials management, and emergency incident coordination. Our team is dedicated to excellence, safety, and innovation in emergency response.
We are seeking part-time/on-call Emergency Response Technicians (ERTs) based in the Prince Rupert or Terrace, BC area. Only candidates residing in these locations will be considered to meet client response time requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
IMT of systems at our clients’ locations.
Respond to emergency situations to protect people, the environment, and property from all types of accidents and emergencies.
Inspect and monitor confined spaces, work at heights as required and ensure rescue and fire equipment is inspected and maintained.
Work within a team environment to complete truck and equipment checks.
Provide emergency Fire, Hazmat, Rescue and Medical care and other related services at the scene of an emergency, accident, disaster, or large scale incident.
Transport patients to safety during an emergency
Attend and participate in internal and worksite meetings.
Complete hazard assessments and rescue plans
Train within your crew
Qualifications
You MUST have all tickets listed:
A valid class 5 drivers license with 6 or less demerits (required)
NFPA 1001 or NFPA 1081 (required)
Confined Space Rescue Certified (asset)
H2S Alive (asset)
Additional Qualifications:
Ice Rescue
Swiftwater Rescue
NFPA 1006 , 472
Hazmat Response
Industrial Fire Response
Experience:
emergency response: 1 year (preferred)
SCHEDULE
Casual/Part-Time
8 to 12-hour shifts
Day shift
Night shift
