Job Description

We are seeking experienced and certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team. We are a NEMT company with over 50 years in the industry. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing basic life support, ensuring patient safety and comfort during transport, and working collaboratively with dispatch and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to transport requests
• Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with safety and traffic regulations
• Accurately document all transports, patient information, and interactions
• Perform vehicle and equipment inspections at the start and end of each shift
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles, including wheelchair and gurney transport
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch, passengers, and healthcare personnel

Requirements

• Valid California EMT certification
• CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Ability to lift, push, and pull patients safely
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous NEMT or ambulance transport experience preferred

Additional Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings
• Must pass criminal background check
• Must complete Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• First Aid & CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• Vaccination required
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong empathy
