Our client, a rapidly expanding international manufacturer specialising in advanced cargo securement solutions, is seeking to appoint an experienced commercial professional to drive growth across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. With an established footprint in global supply chains and strong momentum in the market, this organisation offers an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

This is a field-based appointment, with a preference for candidates based in Belgium, Germany, or the Netherlands. The successful individual will bring a proactive approach, strong relationship-building capability, and a proven background in industrial or logistics-related commercial roles.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Market Development

• Identify emerging trends, untapped market potential, and new customer segments to support long-term revenue expansion.
• Create and implement a robust business development plan for the EMEA territory in partnership with senior leadership.
• Build effective prospecting approaches and develop a strong, scalable pipeline of commercial opportunities.

Channel & Partner Development

• Support account managers with partner planning, performance improvement, and enablement initiatives.
• Expand, strengthen, and manage direct sales routes and distributor partnerships throughout the EMEA region.
• Review and develop current distributor relationships to unlock further commercial value.

Customer Engagement & Commercial Execution

• Maintain high service standards through responsive communication and a proactive commercial approach.
• Serve as a primary commercial contact for customers, channel partners, and end users across the region.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels within client organisations.

Performance & Operational Alignment

• Work closely with warehousing partners to ensure customer needs and commercial commitments are supported effectively.
• Help define, track, and report on key performance indicators aligned with regional growth objectives.
• Promote a culture centred on customer value, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Hauptaufgaben

Strategisches Wachstum & Marktentwicklung

• Identifikation neuer Marktpotenziale, relevanter Trends und zusätzlicher Kundensegmente zur nachhaltigen Umsatzsteigerung.
• Entwicklung einer skalierbaren und qualitativ hochwertigen Vertriebspipeline sowie geeigneter Akquisestrategien.
• Konzeption und Umsetzung einer ganzheitlichen Business-Development-Strategie für die EMEA-Region in enger Abstimmung mit der Unternehmensleitung.

Kanal- & Partnerentwicklung

• Beratung und Begleitung von Account Managern in Bezug auf Partnerstrategie, Performance und Enablement.
• Analyse bestehender Distributor-Beziehungen mit dem Ziel, zusätzliche Geschäftspotenziale zu erschließen.
• Aufbau, Weiterentwicklung und Steuerung direkter Vertriebskanäle sowie von Distributionsnetzwerken im gesamten EMEA-Raum.

Kundenbetreuung & kommerzielle Umsetzung

• Sicherstellung eines hohen Serviceniveaus durch proaktive Kommunikation und eine lösungsorientierte kommerzielle Betreuung.
• Betreuung und Ausbau nachhaltiger Beziehungen zu Ansprechpartnern auf unterschiedlichen Ebenen innerhalb der Kundenorganisationen.
• Zentrale Ansprechperson für Kunden, Endanwender und Vertriebspartner in der Region.

Performance & operative Ausrichtung

• Förderung einer Unternehmenskultur mit Fokus auf Kundenmehrwert, Servicequalität und kontinuierliche Verbesserung.
• Enge Abstimmung mit Lager- und Logistikpartnern zur Sicherstellung einer reibungslosen Unterstützung kommerzieller Aktivitäten und Kundenanforderungen.
• Definition, Nachverfolgung und Reporting relevanter KPIs in Abstimmung mit der Unternehmensführung zur Unterstützung der regionalen Wachstumsziele.


Requirements:
Required Qualifications

• Fluency in both German and Dutch, written and spoken, is essential due to the scope of the territory.
• Demonstrated success in a regional sales, business development, or commercial leadership role, ideally across international or multi-country markets.
• Strong commercial insight with a consistent record of meeting and surpassing revenue goals.
• Proven experience establishing and managing distributor networks and channel partnerships.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organisation.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, approximately 4 to 5 days per week, including travel across EMEA and to the USA.
• Comfortable working occasionally in warehouse settings that may be non-climate-controlled and near mechanical equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience overseeing multi-country sales territories within the EMEA region.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, distribution processes, and related operational requirements.
• Background within industrial packaging, logistics, supply chain, or cargo securement industries.
• Additional language capability relevant to the EMEA market would be advantageous.

Erforderliche Qualifikationen

• Fließende Deutsch- und Niederländischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind aufgrund des betreuten Vertriebsgebiets zwingend erforderlich.

• Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in einer regionalen Vertriebs-, Business-Development- oder kommerziellen Managementfunktion, idealerweise in einem internationalen oder mehrländrigen Umfeld.
• Bereitschaft zu intensiver Reisetätigkeit von etwa 4 bis 5 Tagen pro Woche, einschließlich Reisen innerhalb der EMEA-Region und in die USA.
• Nachweisliche Erfahrung im Aufbau und in der Steuerung von Distributionsnetzwerken und Vertriebspartnerschaften.
• Ausgeprägtes kommerzielles Verständnis sowie eine belegbare Erfolgsbilanz beim Erreichen und Übertreffen von Umsatzzielen.
• Bereitschaft, gelegentlich in nicht klimatisierten Lagerumgebungen sowie in der Nähe technischer Anlagen zu arbeiten.

• Weitere Sprachkenntnisse mit Relevanz für die EMEA-Region sind von Vorteil.
• Erfahrung in der Betreuung von Vertriebsgebieten über mehrere Länder innerhalb der EMEA-Region.
• Kenntnisse von Lager-, Distributions- und operativen Logistikprozessen.
• Branchenerfahrung in den Bereichen industrielle Verpackung, Logistik, Supply Chain oder Ladungssicherung.
