Job Description:
We are looking for highly-skilled and experienced Software Project Managers (SW PCM) to join our client In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) development team.
The team develops high-quality, state-of-the-art Automotive Head Unit and Home Appliance Linux/Android-based systems. Together with other global locations, we provide software solutions for navigation, vehicle functions, autonomous driving, camera, and IoT features to car makers worldwide.
Main Roles:
• Join the software development of the latest generation of IVI for well-known automotive brands.
• Work directly with top automotive experts from Japan, China, India, and Germany.
• Exposure to state-of-the-art technologies in the Automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interface with customers and other stakeholders, taking responsibility for the software part of the product from the acquisition phase until the final release.
• Manage project schedules and deliverables within defined Q-C-D (Quality-Cost-Delivery).
• Analyze customer requirements, clarify and document them with the support of the development team.
• Issue development requests to developers and track progress.
• Develop the team and provide feedback to associates as needed.
• Lead the project team to solve problems during software development to ensure delivery milestones & quality.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master degree in Automotive/ Computer/ Electrical-Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering or related fields.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.
• Strong at project management and risk management.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers and microprocessors.
• Strong understanding of V-model development process.
• Fluent in both English and Japanese.
• Great project leadership and teamwork spirit.
• Desirable: Exposure to In-Vehicle Communication, Vehicle Dynamics, Automotive Safety Standards; PMP certificate.
