Vertex Sigma Software is seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join our innovative team! In this role, you will develop cutting-edge software solutions for our vehicle functionalities and body control systems aimed at automotive OEM products.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing embedded software while collaborating with global technology teams to ensure timely platform development. You will engage with Tier-1 suppliers and address integration issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing software release processes and adhering to detailed project timelines.
• Coordinating with the automotive integration teams to troubleshoot and resolve component issues.
• Documenting software configurations for various product variants and maintaining compliance with other documentation standards.
• Utilizing CANalyzer for log analysis and troubleshooting embedded systems.
• Downloading software using engineering tools and conducting initial smoke tests before integration.
• Participating in PI planning activities, breaking down features into manageable stories and tasks.
• Performing vehicle troubleshooting and debugging to ensure seamless software integration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with CANalyzer and experience in software troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
