This role is a cornerstone of that evolution, responsible for the end-to-end design and manufacture of electronic assemblies. You will lead the charge in developing new applications, taking products from initial PCB design through complex board-bring-up and systems integration. This is an ideal role for an engineer who thrives in a "maker" environment where mechanical heritage meets future-forward electrical innovation.

Job Responsibilities

• PCB Design & Layout: Execute high-fidelity Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and layout, ensuring manufacturability and high-reliability performance.
• Board-Bring-Up: Conduct initial power-on, functional testing, and debugging of new hardware prototypes to ensure system integrity.
• Electromechanical Integration: Partner with in-house mechanical engineers to convert traditional mechanical products into sophisticated electromechanical systems.
• Collaboration & Consulting: Serve as a technical bridge between software engineers, customer engineering teams, and outside consultants to align product goals.
• Simulation & Analysis: Utilize electronics simulation tools to predict performance and optimize designs before moving to physical manufacturing.
• Lifecycle Support: Oversee the transition of electronic assemblies from the design phase into full-scale manufacturing.

Requirements:
Education & Legal

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering is REQUIRED.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is REQUIRED (No exceptions).

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of related engineering experience.
• Proven track record in the design and manufacture of electronic assemblies.
• Direct experience with embedded hardware design and PCB design.
• Hands-on experience with board-bring-up and electromechanical product testing.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with embedded hardware in truck, commercial vehicle, or automotive applications.
• Proficiency in electronics simulation software (e.g., SPICE, Altium, or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional environment with mechanical and software disciplines.

Benefits:
• Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance plans
• Life insurance coverage
• 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions
• Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and holidays
• Opportunities for career growth and advancement
