About Us
Mint Source is a remote-first bridge that connects vibrant talent with international clients and agencies, enabling skilled individuals to showcase their expertise on a global stage.
Role Overview
Mint Source is hiring an Email Marketing Strategist to join a boutique email marketing agency specializing in fashion and jewelry e-commerce brands. This is a strategy-led role. You'll own account strategy across multiple clients, build email briefs, develop monthly content calendars, and write the copy that brings campaigns to life. You'll split your time roughly 50/50 between collaborating with the agency owner on planning and independently managing your accounts. If you understand how fashion and jewelry consumers shop and how to translate that into email strategy that drives revenue, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Own email strategy across 5–6 client accounts, keeping campaigns aligned with brand identity, launches, and seasonal moments
Develop detailed email briefs with campaign concepts, messaging direction, and copy for the designer. The workflow is design-first: the designer typically builds the email structure, and you write copy to fit within it
Produce 2–4 email briefs with copy per day depending on workload
Study past campaign performance in Klaviyo to identify what's working and apply those learnings forward
Monitor open rate, CTR, and placed order value, and flag optimization opportunities
Assist the agency owner in planning and organizing monthly content calendars
Write flow copy for welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, and post-purchase sequences when needed
Propose A/B tests on subject lines, angles, and CTAs, and document learnings
QA emails before send: links, personalization, segments, and rendering
Manage briefs, assets, and feedback through Slack and Google Docs/Drive
What We're Looking For
3+ years in email marketing with account strategy or campaign management as your primary focus
Solid Klaviyo experience across performance analysis, content planning, and multi-account management
Strong copywriting portfolio showing campaigns, flows, briefs, and subject lines
Deep familiarity with fashion and jewelry, including consumer behavior, buying patterns, and brand aesthetics
Comfortable managing 5–6 client accounts simultaneously without dropping quality
Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver who can connect a client's products to an email concept that converts
Proactive communicator with strong attention to detail who flags questions early, before assumptions become mistakes
At ease writing copy within existing design structures rather than always starting from scratch
Basic Canva proficiency for brief support (design skills a plus, not required)
Experience briefing or working alongside email designers is a strong bonus
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
Email revenue contribution: drive 25–40%+ of total store revenue from campaigns and flows, tracked through Klaviyo
Campaign performance: maintain or improve open rates, CTR, and placed order value through strong strategy and copy
Production and planning: deliver 2–4 briefs with copy per day and assist in keeping monthly content calendars current across all accounts
Quality: reduced revision cycles and clean QA with minimal send errors
30/60/90 ramp: producing briefs independently by day 30; consistent daily output across 5–6 accounts by day 60; contributing to strategic planning with measurable performance improvement by day 90
What You Get
Competitive compensation discussed individually based on experience and location
Remote-first, part-time setup with flexibility within EST hours
Direct access to the agency owner with structured check-ins and feedback as needed
Exposure to a growing portfolio of fashion and jewelry e-commerce brands
Real ownership of your accounts with room to grow as you demonstrate results
Back-office support from Mint Source for payroll, onboarding, and HR
