Email Marketing Specialist

Position Summary:

Building and enhancing external campaigns to drive revenue, identifying qualified sales and marketing leads through nurturing contacts and augmenting the company's databases.

Essential Job Functions “What You’ll Do”:

• Creates and optimizes successful email campaigns and nurture flows intended to engage and convert to qualified leads for sales follow-up to include trigger-based score-outs

• Engages segments, prospects, and clients at various points in the customer lifecycle (prospects, cross-sell, up-sell, lapsed).

• Develops strategies for industry events, webinars, and content sponsorships

• Creates content for email/ nurture campaigns to drive B2B database growth and demand generation

• Initiates tracking and integration of marketing tech stack

• Personalizes and ensures best practices in efficient customization at scale including the use of tokens

• Optimizes lead scoring and marketing attribution models

• Generates new ideas for email testing to optimize efficiency to produce results

• Maintain and update comprehensive and accurate trackers and reporting tools for real-time reporting of lead generation campaign performance

• Monitor the production, fulfillment, and revenue of all lead generation campaigns assigned to him/her

• Escalate disputes and unresolved issues in relation to campaigns, systems, and tools being used, serving as a point of contact to resolve interface and integration issues with other teams or departments

Essential Qualifications “What You’ll Need”:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication and other related degrees preferred

• 4+ years experience in email marketing promotion

• 4+ years experience in email content generation

• 2+ years experience in email automation

• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, and campaign optimization

• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact) and marketing automation tools, as well as proficiency in HTML/CSS for email template customization

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze campaign performance metrics, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign effectiveness

• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design, and the ability to create compelling email content and visuals that resonate with target audiences

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and concepts effectively in email content and messaging

• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable results and achieving marketing objectives through email channels

• Ability to work toward goals, meet deadlines, and contribute positively to the team environment

• Ability to communicate effectively in both a verbal and written manner

• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products
