About the Role
We are hiring an Email Marketing Specialist to support the planning, execution, and optimization of email and SMS programs across our client portfolio. This role blends creativity, technical execution, and analytical thinking to help drive lifecycle performance. You will work closely with strategy, creative, and media teams to bring campaigns and automations to life in a way that is on brand, accurate, and aligned with client goals. This role requires strong self-management. You will own your workload and are expected to deliver without daily direction.

What You Will Do
• Build and launch automated flows and campaign emails inside Klaviyo and other esp's
• Set up audiences, triggers, segmentation, and tracking with accuracy
• Manage scheduling, QA, and testing for all email and SMS sends
• Run A/B tests across subject lines, creative, timing, and messaging
• Monitor key metrics including open rate, CTR, conversion rate, and revenue per send
• Identify performance trends and recommend optimization opportunities
• Support list management including segmentation, suppression, and deliverability best practices
• Improve existing flows and automations based on data insights
• Collaborate with creative and client teams to ensure content aligns with brand voice and campaign objectives
• Partner with media buyers to support retention and LTV goals through coordinated lifecycle efforts
• Maintain content calendars, testing plans, and performance notes
• Update internal SOPs for setup, QA, and reporting to ensure consistency and quality
• Communicate directly with clients on campaign status, performance, and recommendations
• Contribute to lifecycle strategy recommendations including flow architecture, segmentation approach, and channel sequencing.
• Ensure all email assets are approved, accurate, and consistent across devices
• Support new client onboarding through template setup, automations, and tagging structures
What You Bring
• 2-4 years of hands on experience in email and SMS marketing
• Expert-level Klaviyo required; other esp platforms are a plus!
• Strong understanding of audience segmentation, deliverability, and lifecycle best practices
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights
• Detail oriented approach to QA, testing, and tracking
• Experience collaborating with creative and strategy teams
• Strong organizational skills, comfortable managing multiple timelines
• Clear communication style and a proactive, solution oriented mindset
• Bonus: experience with Shopify, ReCharge, GA4, or light HTML

• Compensation: Part-time; USD $1,800 to $2,300 per month; Contract
