Job Opportunity: Email Marketing Specialist

We’re hiring an Email Marketing Specialist to lead our email marketing campaigns and help drive customer engagement across our growing business.

At Canada Gold, we’re looking for someone who can combine strategy, creativity, and data-driven decision making to manage and optimize our email marketing programs.

This role will take ownership of our email campaigns—from planning and segmentation to automation, testing, and performance optimization.

Location: Remote (Ontario)
Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 annually

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, development, and execution of all email marketing campaigns.

Create and manage email marketing calendars aligned with marketing initiatives and promotions.

Design and build email campaigns, newsletters, and automated workflows.

Manage audience segmentation to deliver highly targeted and personalized communications.

Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, messaging, design, and send times to optimize performance.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and deliverability.

Maintain and optimize email lists, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and anti-spam legislation.

Collaborate with marketing communications team colleagues to develop compelling email content.

Manage email automation programs such as welcome series, nurture campaigns, and re-engagement campaigns.

Identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion through data insights and industry best practices.

Contribute regular blog content for company websites

Experience

3–5 years of email marketing experience for a B2C company 

Experience with email marketing platforms and automation tools such as Klaviyo

Strong analytical mindset with experience in campaign optimization

Excellent written communication and attention to detail

Bilingualism is an asset
