Overview

We are looking for a data-driven and creative Email Marketing Expert to plan, execute, and optimize high-performing email campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue through strategic email marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns (promotional, lifecycle, retention, and transactional)
• Develop and manage email automation flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, etc.)
• Segment audiences based on behavior, demographics, and lifecycle stage
• Write compelling email copy and collaborate with designers for high-converting creatives
• Optimize campaigns through A/B testing (subject lines, creatives, CTAs, timing)
• Monitor and analyze KPIs such as open rates, CTR, conversion rate, and revenue per email
• Ensure email deliverability and maintain list hygiene (bounce handling, spam compliance)
• Integrate email marketing with other channels (SMS, paid ads, CRM)
• Maintain compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other regulations

Requirements:
Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in email marketing (preferably eCommerce or DTC brands)
• Hands-on experience with tools like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Hub-spot
• Strong understanding of customer lifecycle and retention marketing
• Experience with email automation and segmentation strategies
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email customization
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions
• Excellent copy writing and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with A/B testing and CRO strategies
• Familiarity with CRM systems and customer data platforms
• Experience in SMS marketing platforms
• Understanding of attribution and multi-channel marketing
