Role Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Email Marketing Contractor to own and execute email campaigns end-to-end — with a strong focus on performance, speed, and U.S. compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, build, and execute email campaigns using Mailchimp and Salesforce
• Manage audience segmentation and ensure highly targeted communication
• Track and optimize performance (open rates, CTR, conversions)
• Ensure full compliance with U.S. email regulations (CAN-SPAM and related laws)
• Maintain data hygiene, opt-in/opt-out flows, and unsubscribe processes
• Collaborate with marketing and sales stakeholders to align campaigns with business goals
Requirements:
Must-Have
• Proven experience managing end-to-end email campaigns (hands-on execution)
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Mailchimp
• Salesforce (CRM / campaign management / integrations)
• Solid understanding of U.S. email compliance laws (CAN-SPAM is mandatory)
• Experience working with U.S.-based audiences or companies
• Ability to analyze campaign performance and optimize accordingly
• High attention to detail (especially compliance, segmentation, and data accuracy)
• Ability to work independently and deliver quickly
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with email automation journeys / lifecycle campaigns
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
• Experience integrating email tools with other marketing systems
• Background working in fast-paced or startup environments
• Exposure to B2B or SaaS marketing
