Job Overview
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Email Designer to join our DTC / e-commerce team. In this role, you’ll create high-converting email designs that drive engagement, increase revenue, and strengthen brand consistency across all customer touchpoints. You’ll collaborate with marketing, copy, and growth teams to produce visually compelling campaigns and automated email flows.
What You’ll Do
• Design high-impact email campaigns, promotional blasts, and lifecycle flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, etc.).
• Translate marketing briefs into visually engaging, on-brand email designs.
• Optimize layouts for performance, readability, and conversion across desktop and mobile devices.
• Work closely with copywriters, marketers, and developers to execute campaigns from concept to launch.
• Create and maintain reusable email templates and design systems.
• Ensure emails are responsive, accessible, and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Support A/B testing by producing multiple design variations.
• Stay updated on email design trends, best practices, and platform capabilities.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
• Experience working with DTC brands or performance-driven marketing teams.
• Understanding of email analytics, A/B testing, and conversion optimization.
• Motion or GIF design experience for email.
Requirements:
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in email design, preferably in DTC or e-commerce.
• Strong portfolio showcasing email campaigns and marketing design work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Basic understanding of email platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
• Knowledge of responsive email design and best practices for different devices and clients.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, typography, and layout.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
