About Us
Mint Source is a remote-first bridge that connects vibrant talent with international clients and agencies, enabling skilled individuals to showcase their expertise on a global stage.
Role Overview
Mint Source is hiring an Email Copywriter to join a retention-focused email marketing agency that works with established DTC brands across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and more. You'll write high-volume email copy for 10 DTC brands, producing 150-200 campaigns per month using AI (Claude) to move fast without losing brand voice. You'll work closely with strategy and design via ClickUp, build monthly campaign calendars, and keep fresh angles flowing across every brand. Success looks like consistent output, non-repetitive creative, and minimal revision cycles. This role is a fit if you think in systems and can produce at scale without bottlenecking the workflow.
What You'll Do
Write 7-9 marketing emails per day across 10 DTC brands, using Claude to accelerate drafts while keeping copy on-brand
Build monthly campaign calendars per brand, mapping send cadences and themes to avoid overlap across accounts
Generate fresh angles, hooks, subject lines, and preview text so campaigns stay varied week over week
Write copy for both lifecycle flows and campaigns, tailored to audience stage, offer, and brand voice
Collaborate in ClickUp with strategy and design to move work from brief to delivery on schedule
Apply DTC email best practices for voice, scannability, mobile readability, and brand consistency
Use Klaviyo to reference past performance, segments, and triggers when writing copy
Communicate with clients for ideation and input when needed, keeping turnaround fast
Proof, QA, and hand off clean copy with clear notes for designers and implementers
What We're Looking For
1-3 years writing email copy for DTC or e-commerce brands, with samples of both flows and campaigns
Hands-on experience using AI (e.g. Claude) to ideate and draft, while editing output to a human, on-brand voice
Strong grasp of DTC email best practices, including subject lines, CTAs, and offer framing
Working familiarity with Klaviyo and ClickUp (or similar tools) to navigate briefs, data, and deadlines
Knowledge of segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing frameworks in retention marketing
Systems thinker who can produce at scale without repeating angles or diluting brand voice
Creative problem-solver who can generate fresh angles even when briefs are thin or repetitive
Proactive communicator with fast execution, able to flag blockers early and keep work moving
Strong attention to detail and a thoughtful, methodical approach that reduces revisions
Bonus: experience writing across multiple DTC verticals (fashion, beauty, lifestyle, wellness)
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
Deliver 150-200 marketing emails per month across 10 brands on time and to spec
Maintain originality across campaigns with fresh angles, hooks, and messaging, confirmed via internal review and client feedback
Average one round of edits or fewer per campaign, with minimal hand-holding from management
Meet weekly throughput targets without creating downstream bottlenecks for design or strategy
30/60/90-day ramp: By day 30, fully onboarded on all 10 brand voices and hitting daily output with supervision. By day 60, producing at full volume with consistent quality and minimal revisions. By day 90, operating independently across all brands with confident angle generation and clean handoffs
What You Get
Monthly compensation of 1,400–1,600 USD depending on experience & fit
Remote-first role with flexible hours and overlap expectations across GMT+1 and GMT+10
Largely independent workflow, roughly 80% solo execution with focused team collaboration touchpoints
Exposure to 10 DTC brands across multiple verticals, expanding your portfolio and pattern recognition
Clear KPIs, written-first communication, and a low-meeting culture focused on output
Back-office support from Mint Source for payroll, onboarding, and HR
