ELK Developer & Administrator (Elastic Stack)

We are seeking a skilled ELK Developer & Administrator with strong expertise in Elasticsearch (v8.0+). This is a hybrid role with a primary focus on Development (70%) and Administration (30%).

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Elastic architecture, log management, cluster support, and cloud-native deployments, along with the ability to design scalable, high-performance Elastic environments.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

🔹 Development (70%)

• Design, develop, and optimize Elasticsearch-based solutions (v8.0+)
• Implement and manage Logstash pipelines for log ingestion and transformation
• Build advanced Kibana dashboards and visualizations
• Configure and manage Index Lifecycle Management (ILM) policies
• Implement scalable log management frameworks across applications and microservices
• Integrate APM solutions for performance monitoring
• Optimize search performance, indexing strategies, and cluster architecture

🔹 Administration (30%)

• Manage and maintain Elastic clusters in production environments
• Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure high availability
• Support on-call rosters and production issue resolution
• Deploy and manage Elastic infrastructure in AWS environments
• Work with Kubernetes (K8s) for containerized Elastic deployments
• Handle upgrades, scaling, backups, and disaster recovery strategies

Required Technical Skills

• Elasticsearch (v8.0 or above) – Strong hands-on experience in both Development & Administration
• Logstash – Advanced pipeline development and log parsing
• Kibana – Dashboard creation and visualization expertise
• Index Lifecycle Management (ILM)
• AWS (Cloud-native experience required)
• Kubernetes (K8s) – Managing Elastic clusters in containerized environments
• Experience managing Elastic Servers in production

Domain Expertise (Mandatory Experience With)

• Network Logs
• Security Logs
• Application Logs
• Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
• Microservices architecture logging

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Elasticsearch AI/ML capabilities
• Vector Search
• Machine Learning integrations

• Strong architectural mindset with experience designing scalable Elastic clusters
• Experience in high-availability and distributed system environments
