RMC is hiring a Senior Repair Specialist to support our customer in Dahlgren, VA. The selected applicant can expect to:
• Be responsible for maintaining, conducting periodic maintenance, and supporting Guidance Test Set (GTS) test events.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues down to the circuit board level and fabricating custom cables.
• Travel (CONUS and OCONUS) and support shipboard and field test events as needed.
Requirements:
• Three (3) years of general maintenance and repair experience in computer based electro-mechanical equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to solder multi-layer circuit cards, cables, and connectors.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze circuit card assemblies to identify problems at the component level.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Work with electrical diagnostic tools.
• Follow existing procedures for equipment at the component, chassis, or system level.
• Perform research on Commercial-Off-The- Shelf (COTS) material.
• Ability to travel (CONUS and OCONUS) and embark naval vessels.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Certifications
• Current J-STD-001 solder certification.
• Operator IPC 620 wire harness and cable certification.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $85,000 to $125,000 (annually).
