A top Washington, D.C. law firm is seeking a Patent Agent/Technical Specialist to join its pre-eminent national Intellectual Property Department in the Electronics Practice Group. We are seeking individuals who have immediately transferable skills, with strong academic backgrounds, excellent written and oral communication skills, and who have major law firm experience and/or industry experience. The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience and hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferably, the candidate has experience with one or more of communications systems and networks, wireless systems, optical systems, Internet technologies, and other technologies. Admission before the USPTO is a plus, but not required.
