Job Description
Join Trackman’s R&D team and help create world-leading sports tracking solutions. We’re looking for an experienced engineer to design digital and DC power supply solutions for our next generation of radar- and vision-based products.
We offer an exciting opportunity in our R&D hardware department. At Trackman we are growing, as we are constantly striving to develop, produce and deploy our market leading sport tracking solutions within golf, baseball, football and more. Our Innovative products are based on multi sensor technology including radar and vision-based sensors to measure anything that enables sports enthusiasts to improve their game. We’re therefore looking for an experienced and motivated electronics engineer for product design of digital and DC power supply solutions.
The role
You will have a close working relationship with our talented mechanical & optical engineers in R&D hardware, tracking, and software, as well as colleagues from our in-house production, sourcing, and management. You will have the opportunity to engage with various digital technologies in both high and low volumes.
What will you be doing?
• Work on developing and verifying High to Low-speed digital circuits, incl. Computer Modules, FPGAs, Camera Sensors ( CMOS ), High performance ADCs, DACs, microcontrollers (MCUs), USB and LAN controllers, and power management integrated circuits (ICs).
• Development of small DC power supplies and power management circuits, ensuring efficient, reliable power distribution within our hardware designs. Working with DC/DC PSU topologies like Boost, Buck, Boost-Buck, Sepic, Flyback and Forward.
• Hands-on measuring with signal generators and digital oscilloscopes for signal analysis, verification and circuit debugging, and documenting measurement results.
• Act as “workstream lead” by ensuring structured progress tracking within the project’s electronics team and organizing follow up discussions if relevant.
• Participating in layout, stack-up and constraints driven designs of multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs), from schematic entry to placement and routing, ensuring designs meet performance, quality, and manufacturability standards.
• Use LTspice to simulate and validate designs, allowing you to optimize circuit performance and troubleshoot potential issues before hardware production.
• Work alongside our mechanical, optics, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs align with overall product requirements and are optimized for production.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes, troubleshoot hardware-related issues as they arise, and implement improvements to optimize quality and production yield.
