Duties and Responsibilities
Complete the manufacturing and fabrication of electrical component parts for system control panels, mechanical seals and water filtration systems by following the engineering drawings, using electric, pneumatic, and manual hand tools
Test and troubleshoot existing/manufactured centre panels
Responsible for maintaining physical inventory and quality control of incoming parts
Assist with improvements of electromechanical systems and other applications
Responsible for quality control testing and maintaining quality documentation for all completed mechanical assemblies
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
Assist in other areas of the Systems Department as required by the Team Lead
React to change productively and to undertake other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Demonstrates strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly skilled with hand tools, gauges (micrometer, vernier, etc.)
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, electrical and mechanical diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly
Possesses advanced technical skills in diagnosing and resolving issues
Basic knowledge of pipefitting, fluid mechanics, and engineering
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Demands
While carrying out the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, climb, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted; to work in, on, around, over, and under fixed equipment and machinery; work from lifts and ladders; manipulate heavy equipment, tools, and supplies; concurrently manipulate multiple controls and machinery with pushing and pulling motions; work in hazardous or dirty, dusty, or uncomfortable environments including hot temperature conditions; and wear and work in personal protective equipment.
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to conditions in a manufacturing environment, including dirt, noise, fumes, heat, and outdoor weather conditions. PPE and safety procedures must be used. May work with low voltage power supply. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
Minimum Qualifications
Electromechanical Diploma or other related education
1 – 3 years of related experience is preferred
